  • Premodern Antiracist Pedagogy Workshop
  • March 10, 2022 | 1:00 PM EST
  • The Medieval-Renaissance Colloquium presents the first ever Premodern Antiracist Pedagogy Workshop at the Center for Cultural Analysis in Room 6051.

Joined by Profs. Patricia Akhimie (Rutgers - Newark), Reginald Wilburn (University of New Hampshire), and Ian Smith (Lafayette College) for a conversation moderated by Professor Erica Edwards (Rutgers - New Brunswick), this event will explore the intersection of antiracist pedagogy and undergraduate instruction in premodern texts and cultures. While the expertise of our speakers is geared towards the premodern Anglophone context, this event will be of interest to any and all interested in the project of antiracist pedagogy as a whole. The event will be followed by a small catered reception, courtesy of our event sponsors.
