  • Increasingly, college courses are transitioning from traditional lecture to active learning, where students engage in their learning through collaborative activities in class. This seminar will highlight how undergraduates with different identities, including LGBTQ+ students, students with anxiety, and disabled students, experience collaboration in active learning courses. I will describe the primary challenges that these student groups describe and ways educators can work to make collaborative activities more inclusive for all students, not just those in majority groups.
