- Art & Aesthetics
- October 27, 4:00 pm – 5:30 pm
Our overarching aim is to explore divergences and convergences around questions of artistic form, expression, and criticism. We are especially interested in fostering discussion across disciplines. Our current theme concerns the relationship between thought and expression, focusing on classic readings from analytic philosophy and New Criticism. This semester, we will discuss Gottlob Frege's 1918 'Thought' and a selection from I.A. Richards (TBD).
