Roundtable Discussion: How Scholarship on Slavery and Abolition Informs Our Teaching and Public Work

From: Monday, March 29, 2021, 12:00pm

To: Monday, March 29, 2021, 01:30pm

Co-sponsored by the Slavery + Freedom Studies Working Group and the Public Humanities Working Group

Teaching and Public Work Art

This roundtable features panelists whose scholarship on Slavery & Abolition across different disciplines has also shaped their teaching, advocacy and engagement with various publics. We’re hoping that grad students, faculty, and others who may be interested may be inspired to make relevant the study of bondage and freedom in the classroom and through various forms of public advocacy.
