Join the Slavery + Freedom Studies Working Group at the Rutgers CCA for a virtual book talk with the editors of As If She Were Free (Cambridge, 2020), which brings together the biographies of twenty-four women of African descent from the sixteenth through the nineteenth centuries in the Americas.
