ORGANIZER

 

Meredith L. McGill is an associate professor of English at Rutgers University. She is the author of American Literature and the Culture of Reprinting, 1834-1853 (University of Pennsylvania Press, 2003) and the editor of The Traffic in Poems (Rutgers University Press, 2008).  She has published essays on American copyright law, handwriting and mass production, Edgar Allan Poe, Robert Lowell, and Wallace Stevens. The incoming director of the Center for Cultural Analysis, McGill leads the New Media Literacies working group.
